Tamil Nadu Delivery Guy: A video circulating on social media shows a self-claimed delivery executive saying he refused to deliver three packets of rat poison to a distressed woman in Tamil Nadu, suspecting
she might use them to harm herself. According to the video, the order was placed after midnight. During a phone call, the delivery executive reportedly heard the woman crying, which raised his concern that the poison might be intended for suicide rather than to kill rodents. In a self-recorded video posted on an Instagram account named 'dilli rider', the delivery executive said he became worried after hearing the woman cry. He initially told her that her parcel had been misplaced, but after reaching her house, he confronted her directly. He said he tried to calm her down and urged her not to consider suicide, regardless of the problem she was facing. As per the Instagram post, the delivery executive appears to be associated with quick-commerce company Blinkit. Also Read: Road Rage: Delivery Rider Targeted in Brutal Attack After Minor Accident – VIDEO
What Happened?
The woman denied the suspicion, but the delivery executive remained firm in his decision not to hand over the poison. He argued that if there had been a genuine rat problem, the order could have been placed earlier in the day or the following morning, rather than late at night."But after reaching the customer location, I told them that they missed the order on the way. I told them not to cry like that. After that, I went to them and told them that no matter what the problem is, don't take it as suicide. I told them that they placed the order for suicide. They told me that they placed the order for suicide. I told them that they are not lying."
