We called the railways and informed the TT as well, but we didn’t get any support from anybody. The train has not stopped yet, and the boy fell down 10–15 km away. We don’t know anything about the boy, and the chain is useless. Till now, no official has come
to help us.”In the same self-recorded video, the man pans the camera to a female passenger who can be seen crying continuously. He claims that the woman is the boy’s sister. The viral post was captioned: “Train Tragedy: Passengers pull Emergency chain after boy falls off, But Train won’t stop. REALITY: Absolute Negligence Noticed on the Jalpaiguri-Ramnagar route! A boy fell from a moving train with all his luggage. When a female passenger screamed, other travellers pulled the emergency chain, but the train did not stop. Both the TTE and the helpline provided zero help to the traumatised sister. A viral video exposes this shocking Railway system failure.”Note: Times now could not independently verify the authenticity of the viral post.
