The internet was left split after a Delhi women’s ‘debatable' take surfaced on social media– largely over India’s national capital and its ‘questionable capabilities’ of representing the country. As per
the woman’s observation after staying in Bengaluru for quite a while, the IT Hub of the country should be “declared the national capital of India”, instead of letting Delhi remain the capital. Justifying her take, the woman- who claimed to be from Delhi itself- stated that Bengaluru has much better “air and women's safety” in comparison to Delhi. Elaborating on her points, the woman compared Delhi to a “gas chamber”. She further claimed that she felt absolutely safe, despite being out at night on Bengaluru streets. The woman further criticised Delhi’s “bad roads and unwalkable spaces”, highlighting how international tourists should be welcomed in Bengaluru first, instead of Delhi. “Why should any international guest in our country be subjected to bad air, bad roads, and unwalkable spaces if they are coming to our country. I think they should be welcomed in a better city like Bangalore," the woman was heard saying in the clip. The video went viral in an instant. Some agreed with her take, while some had otherwise to say. Times Now could not confirm the details and the authenticity of the post.Check out the viral post: “As a Delhi girl, I still got to say this,” the post read. The post was shared on Instagram, by the handle ‘simridhimakhija’. The post was shared a day ago and pulled more than 4K views from people.
