A 17-year-old schoolboy from UP’s Bulandshahr, Aditya Kumar, is making headlines online after he reportedly ended up building an ‘AI robot teacher’. A video was shared on social media, which showed the

‘robot’, donning a red saree, interacting with a class full of students. Kumar, on the other hand, was heard asking the AI several questions, which the teacher answered with ease. As per News 18, the class 12th student built the ‘AI robot teacher’ with a cost of just Rs 25,000. As per ANI, the teacher has been named ‘Sophie’. Kumar further revealed that the robot has been equipped with an ‘LLM chipset’, which is something that is a widely used technology among big companies.“I have used an LLM chipset to build this robot, which is also used by big companies that make robots. It can clear students' doubts. For now, she can only speak. But we are designing it so it can write as well soon. There should be a lab in every district so students can come there and do research,” Kumar was heard saying to ANI. Kumar is from Shiv Charan Inter College.The video soon began to float around on social media after it was shared online. However, as soon as the clip went viral, netizens had something else to add. As per multiple online comments, the ‘AI robot teacher’ was actually a ‘mannequin fitted with a speaker and a ChatGPT interface’.
