A Bengaluru man couldn't help but hail the city’s medical accessibility and the healthcare system after he experienced it first-hand, in the most unexpected manner! Taking to social media, the man recalled the incident. Allegedly, the man was at a friend's house to attend a house party; however, the gathering turned into a nightmare for him after he got bitten by the friend’s pet dog. Rushing into action, the man decided to get vaccinated, and was left surprised and even impressed after he was able to receive a “walk-in rabies vaccination”.Allegedly, the clinic was just “1km” away from his home in Koramangala. Not only was the vaccine “affordable”, but the staff too was “caring”. Calling it “peak healthcare”, the man then compared the incident with
that of another, which happened with his friend in the US. Allegedly, the friend in the US “couldn't find a rabies vaccine anywhere in a 10-mile radius.”The post went viral in an instant, leaving many reacting. Most found it commendable, while others claimed that the same healthcare is not that fast in Bengaluru’s rural areas.Times Now could not confirm the details of the post.Check out the viral post: “We take a lot of things for granted in India! I had an unfortunate event where I went to a friend's place all excited for a house party and their pet dog bit me! Even though they assured me that the dog is vaccinated, I didn't want to take any risk. Thanks to a company named Clinikk that runs many healthcare centers in Bangalore where I got a walk-in rabies vaccine. The clinic was just 1km from my home at Koramangala, was affordable, the vaccine was available and the staff was caring. That's peak healthcare! On the other hand, one of my friends in San Francisco got bit by a homeless dog (yes, there are homeless dogs in the USA!). My friend couldn't find a rabies vaccine anywhere in a 10 mile radius!” the post read. The post was shared on X (formerly Twitter) by the handle ‘siddharth_iitm’.
