She further added, “For me, my home of childhood is not just a place of the past—it is a part of who I am, and I never need permission from anyone to go there. It is my home, and I can go there anytime I wish. I still remember something from the wedding rituals—during the pheras, pandit ji said that after marriage, one may need permission from the in-laws to visit the maayka. I even asked at that moment, ‘So will I need to ask permission to go to my own home now?’ And my husband quietly whispered to me, ‘That is your home.
