Varuthini Ekadashi 2026: Date and Shubh Muhurat According to the Vedic calendar, the Ekadashi Tithi of the Krishna Paksha (dark fortnight) of the month of Vaishakha begins at 1:16 AM. It will end at 1:08 AM on April 14th. Therefore, the Varuthini Ekadashi fast will be observed on April 13th. The time for breaking the fast of this Ekadashi is from 06:54 am to 08:31 am on 14th April. Therefore, the Mohini Ekadashi fast will be observed on April 27th. The time for breaking the Mohini Ekadashi fast is from 05:43 am to 08:21 am. The word "Mohini" is associated with the divine form taken by Lord Vishnu during the Samudra Manthan, churning of the cosmic ocean.
