How to get to Koh Jum?
During the high season – November to April – there are daily ferries to Koh Jum from the neighboring islands like Krabi, Koh Lanta, Koh Kradan, Koh Lipe, Koh Phi Phi, etc. However, the best option is to take the ferry service from Krabi Town, as it takes only 1.5 hours to reach the destination.
In the low season, you can take a taxi from Krabi to reach Laem Kruat Pier and then hire a long-tailed boat to get to Koh Jum.
The beaches on Koh Jum
There are several magnificent beaches scattered across the island. Ting Rai Beach is located in the northern part of Koh Jum, where you will get an excellent view of the surrounding areas. Also, there’s Banyan Bay Beach, which remains exceptionally secluded throughout the year.
Along the southwest coast, there’s the Golden Pearl Beach, which is home to numerous hotels, resorts, and restaurants. Apart from these, the list also includes Magic Beach, Ao Si Beach, and Andaman Beach etc.
Things to do in Koh Jum
Besides relaxing for hours, you can also indulge in several activities here. First of all, rent a motorbike and explore the entire island. Also, most of the above-mentioned beaches are ideal for adventure sports like diving, snorkeling, etc.
