Pakhal Lake is a majestic man-made lake spreading over an area of 30 square km. It is believed to have been built in 1213 AD during the reign of the Kakatiya Dynasty. It’s nestled amidst hills and lush greenery, and the views from there are breathtaking in the truest sense of the term.
The area remains remarkably tranquil, thanks to the natural surroundings, cool breeze, and the chirping of birds. The lake borders the Pakhal Wildlife Sanctuary, which makes for a popular picnic spot among locals.
