Sitar maestro Rishab Rikhiram Sharma has revealed his ingenious creation: a 'very good' sooji pizza. His approach transforms humble semolina (sooji) into
a delightful cheela base, topped generously with a medley of vegetables and cheese, finished with a sprinkle of oregano. This innovative dish, as shared in a conversation with Curly Tales, offers a creative culinary twist that’s both appealing and nourishing. Sharma also mentioned his fondness for besan cheela, indicating a broader appreciation for wholesome Indian snacks. The creation process involves preparing a smooth batter from sooji, yogurt (curd), and water, allowing it to rest, then spreading it thinly on a hot pan to cook to a crisp. Once the base is ready, it’s adorned with assorted vegetables and cheese, creating a flavorful and visually appealing pizza-like experience. Seasonings can be customized to individual preferences, with the option to add favorite pizza sauces for an extra layer of taste.
