Direct Route Unveiled
A significant development in air travel connectivity has been announced with the commencement of a new five-times-weekly non-stop service between Delhi
and Hanoi. This inauguration marks Hanoi as the airline's second key destination in Vietnam and broadens its network to an eighth city across the Southeast Asian region. The inaugural flight, identified as AI2390, departed from Delhi International Airport in the early hours, specifically at 01:20 IST, and successfully landed at Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi at 07:20 local time. Upon arrival, the aircraft was welcomed with a special ceremony, attended by distinguished guests including representatives from the Indian Embassy in Vietnam, airport authorities, and senior figures from the airline, signifying the importance of this new air link.
Seamless Travel Options
This new Delhi-Hanoi route is meticulously planned to work in tandem with the airline's existing daily flights to Ho Chi Minh City. The frequency of five flights per week offers passengers a distinct advantage, particularly for those interested in 'open-jaw' travel plans. This means travelers have the flexibility to begin their journey in Hanoi and conclude it in Ho Chi Minh City, or vice versa. This capability significantly simplifies the logistics for multi-city exploration, catering effectively to both individuals seeking leisure and business professionals who require efficient transit across Vietnam.
Modern Aircraft Features
For the operation of this new Delhi-Hanoi route, the airline is utilizing its contemporary A320neo aircraft. This modern fleet is configured to meet a variety of passenger needs, offering a comfortable and well-appointed three-class service. The cabin comprises Business Class, designed for ultimate comfort and executive amenities; Premium Economy, which provides enhanced legroom and specialized services; and Economy Class, delivering a comprehensive full-service experience enriched by the airline's renowned hospitality, ensuring a pleasant journey for all passengers on board this route.
Global Connectivity Boost
Beyond facilitating direct travel between India and Vietnam, this new air corridor serves as a crucial conduit for international transit passengers. Individuals traveling from destinations such as the United Kingdom and other parts of Europe can now benefit from a streamlined and convenient connection to Vietnam. This connectivity is made possible through Air India's primary operational hub located in Delhi, enabling a smoother and more integrated travel experience for a broader international clientele looking to visit Southeast Asia.
