Future Development & Global Reach
ZYT is actively working on optimizing its foundation model to operate on more affordable, mass-market chips, a crucial step for broader adoption beyond high-end prototypes and robotaxis. This effort to compress the AI's computational requirements is an ongoing development, with the first passenger car incorporating the system expected in 2027. The company has already secured partnerships with Volkswagen's China partner, FAW Group, and has established an engineering presence near VW's headquarters for testing on European roads. Notably, ZYT has no immediate plans to enter the United States market, with Shen stating, "We will keep ourselves away from the market at this moment." They believe the rest of the world is ripe for adoption, underscoring their global ambitions beyond a single market. The investment from FAW Group also aims to address compliance concerns for international customers by reducing direct majority ownership by DJI.
