Redundant Fiber Backbone
To guarantee an unbroken digital experience at the AI Impact Summit in New Delhi, a sophisticated network infrastructure was put in place. A key element
of this setup is the implementation of four-way protected fiber paths at all event venues. This meticulous planning ensures that even if a primary fiber optic cable encounters an issue, data transmission continues without interruption via alternative routes. This multi-layered protection is fundamental to maintaining the high availability required for critical demonstrations and keynote speeches, preventing any potential downtime that could mar the summit's proceedings or attendee experience. The focus is on creating a resilient foundation that can withstand unforeseen circumstances, allowing the seamless flow of information and communication throughout the event.
Dense Small Cell Deployment
Beyond the primary fiber connectivity, the network's capacity and reach were significantly bolstered through an extensive deployment of small cells. Specifically, 55 small cells were strategically positioned throughout the Bharat Mandapam complex, complemented by an additional 12 outdoor sites. This dense configuration is designed to enhance signal strength and capacity, particularly in areas expected to experience high user density. Such a concentrated deployment is crucial for mitigating signal degradation and ensuring consistent, high-speed 5G Plus service for all attendees, even during peak usage times. This approach effectively addresses the challenge of maintaining robust connectivity in large, populated venues, creating a blanket of reliable coverage.
Optimized Transit Routes
The network's reach was not confined to the main event halls; it extended to cover the entire delegate experience. Existing network infrastructure was meticulously optimized and augmented to provide comprehensive coverage across all relevant areas. This includes not only the primary venues but also the transit points, traffic routes, and entry and exit corridors frequented by attendees. The objective was to ensure that seamless connectivity was available at every touchpoint, from arrival to departure. This holistic approach to network expansion means that delegates can expect a superior, uninterrupted experience on the 5G Plus network throughout their time at the summit, regardless of their location within the event perimeter.
Proactive Monitoring & Coverage
Ensuring continuous, high-quality service demanded a rigorous monitoring strategy and comprehensive site surveys. Dedicated 24/7 teams were established to meticulously oversee all roaming links, guaranteeing that visitors experienced an exceptional and uninterrupted connection on the 5G Plus network. The groundwork for this was laid through extensive site surveys, which identified and eliminated potential dead zones. This led to the implementation of blanket 5G coverage, the aforementioned dense small-cell deployment, and robust dedicated fiber backhaul. This proactive and meticulous approach ensures that the network is not only robust but also constantly managed for optimal performance, providing a superior experience.
Surge Capacity & Expert Support
Anticipating the significant data demands inherent in live streaming AI demonstrations and complex showcases, the network was engineered with substantial surge capacity. This capability is supported by a dedicated war room and a team of round-the-clock on-site network experts. Their primary role is to manage peak traffic in real time, ensuring that the network can handle extreme usage scenarios without performance degradation. This meticulous preparation underscores a commitment to delivering a world-class connectivity experience, capable of supporting the most intensive data requirements of the AI Impact Summit and its innovative presentations.
