Noida International Airport (DXN) is poised to commence its commercial operations in June 2026, introducing a significant new air travel hub for the National
Capital Region. IndiGo is slated to be the inaugural carrier, commencing services on June 15th. Complementing this, Akasa Air has also confirmed its intention to operate daily direct flights from this burgeoning airport. The initial phase of operations will establish crucial links between Noida and prominent metropolitan areas, as well as several regional cities. Travelers can anticipate direct flights to cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Amritsar, and Navi Mumbai, with an expanded list of destinations scheduled to be introduced throughout July. This strategic network aims to enhance connectivity and provide convenient travel options for a broad spectrum of passengers.
Southward Bound: Bengaluru & Hyderabad
For those heading south, Noida International Airport offers direct access to two major tech and cultural hubs. Flights to Bengaluru are scheduled to commence on June 15th, with IndiGo operating a morning service that departs Noida at 8:35 AM and lands in Bengaluru by 11:05 AM. Additionally, Akasa Air will offer an evening option, departing Noida at 7:55 PM and arriving in Bengaluru at 11:00 PM, starting from June 16th. Fares for Bengaluru typically start from Rs8,180 for a one-way trip with Akasa Air and Rs8,805 with IndiGo. Travelers looking to connect with Hyderabad will find IndiGo providing a direct service from June 15th. This flight departs Noida in the afternoon at 2:50 PM, arriving in Hyderabad at 4:50 PM, with one-way fares beginning at Rs6,000. These initial routes provide vital links to southern India's economic powerhouses.
Western and Northern Routes
Venturing to the west and north, Noida International Airport is also establishing key connections. For travel to Navi Mumbai, Akasa Air will operate a midday service starting June 16th. This flight departs Noida at 10:15 AM and reaches Navi Mumbai by 12:30 PM, with one-way fares starting at Rs5,440. In the northern region, Amritsar will be directly accessible from June 15th via IndiGo. The flight is scheduled to depart Noida at 10:10 AM, arriving in Amritsar at 11:20 AM. IndiGo's flights to Amritsar are priced from Rs3,395 for a one-way journey. Furthermore, Lucknow, a significant city in Uttar Pradesh, will also be connected from June 15th with IndiGo operating an evening flight departing Noida at 6:55 PM and arriving in Lucknow at 8:00 PM. These routes cater to both business and leisure travelers in the northern and western corridors.
Expanding Horizons: July Additions
As July dawns, Noida International Airport is set to significantly broaden its domestic network with a host of new destinations being introduced by IndiGo. Travelers will soon be able to fly directly to popular locations such as Srinagar, the picturesque Jodhpur, the serene Dharamshala, the historic Bhopal, and the gateway to the hills, Dehradun. The expansion also includes connections to Bareilly and Pantnagar, offering regional access. Further north, Chandigarh and Jaipur, major cities in their respective states, will become more accessible. Notably, Navi Mumbai will also see additional services. Specific flight frequencies are being detailed, with Bareilly services planned four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday) and Kishangarh, a new addition, operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. These July additions promise to transform travel accessibility from the NCR.
