On April 4, 2026, Air India and Air India Express are implementing a significant shift in their West Asia flight schedules. A total of 42 flights are planned

Notably, major UAE destinations such as Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Sharjah will exclusively see ad-hoc flights operating throughout April 4th, with no scheduled services available for the entire day. For instance, the Delhi to Dubai route will be served by special Air India flights, while Air India Express will operate dedicated flights connecting Delhi and Abu Dhabi. Ras Al Khaimah will maintain links to India through various cities including Kochi, Kozhikode, Mangalore, and Mumbai. Sharjah, likewise, will be connected to India via cities like Kochi, Kozhikode, and Lucknow. Limited International Operations
Beyond the UAE, Air India's West Asia operations on April 4th will be quite limited, though some flights will continue. In Oman, Air India Express is still offering scheduled flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Muscat. Connectivity will also be maintained to Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia. However, several other destinations will experience a complete absence of scheduled flight operations for the day. These include Salalah, Dammam, Bahrain, Doha, Kuwait, and Tel Aviv.
