Following her successful tenure at OMO, Chef Vanshika Bhatia has launched Gram Street, a distinctive cafe situated in Gurugram's DLF Phase 1. The establishment
draws its name from a clever trifecta: Gurugram itself, the popular social media platform, and the precise measurements used in coffee preparation. This new venture artfully combines meticulously crafted specialty beverages with thoughtfully prepared food, moving away from the rigid structure of fine dining. Bhatia's career trajectory is marked by a consistent dedication to showcasing seasonal and regional ingredients, culminating in her previous roles at OMO and the widely accessible Petit Pie Shop. At Gram Street, the menu spans from delicate pastries to fresh salads, ensuring a broad appeal. The long-term vision for Gram Street includes expansion across the NCR region and subsequently throughout India, necessitating a central kitchen for consistent preparation, with final assembly happening at each outlet to guarantee freshness. Bhatia emphasizes that despite its cafe designation, significant investment has been made in premium ingredients, state-of-the-art equipment, and refined techniques to deliver a superior product. Recipe development has focused on ensuring dishes maintain their quality whether enjoyed on-site, taken away, or delivered, exemplified by the 'One Night Stand' sando.
