The Pernem municipality has embarked on an ambitious project to breathe new life into two previously overlooked ponds, Paliem and Korgao. This revitalization

The Paliem pond, which had suffered from neglect for over three decades, has recently seen its restoration inaugurated by Mandrem MLA Jeet Arolkar. This project, with an allocated budget of Rs 14 lakh, focuses on transforming these water bodies into tranquil havens.
