Grand School Inauguration
Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, alongside Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, officially opened the newly constructed Adarsh Secondary School at Jan
Bhavan in Lucknow. This significant development, built with an investment of ₹5.17 crore, represents a substantial upgrade in educational infrastructure. The Chief Minister conveyed his deep appreciation to the Governor for spearheading this groundbreaking educational endeavor. Addressing the young students present, he powerfully underscored the indispensable role of diligent effort in achieving any objective, asserting that success is invariably the outcome of persistent hard work, and only those who commit to it truly reach their aspirations. During the ceremony, dignitaries also formally launched the book titled 'Hamara Jan Bhavan' and ceremoniously handed over the keys to the school bus to both the principal and the designated driver, signifying a new era of mobility and learning for the students.
A Model for Education
During his address, Chief Minister Adityanath resonated with a profound Sanskrit verse, emphasizing the innate potential within every individual to achieve greatness, provided they have the right guidance. He posited that the Governor's visionary initiative in the educational sphere serves as an exemplary model of such a guiding force. This pioneering effort, he suggested, should be a source of inspiration for the Basic and Secondary Education Councils. The Chief Minister further elaborated that this remarkable example of educational facility development is not only commendable but also highly replicable, offering a successful blueprint that can be adopted and adapted across various sectors of development. He lauded the newly constructed school building as an ideal educational institution, perfectly suited for showcasing as a benchmark of quality and modernity in the field.
Prototype for CM Composite School
Chief Minister Adityanath directed officials from the Education Department to consider adopting this project as a definitive prototype for the "CM Composite School" model. He highlighted that the impressive school building was realized through a total expenditure of ₹5.17 crore. A substantial portion, amounting to ₹4.70 crore, was funded by the state government. The remaining financial resources were skillfully secured through the proactive efforts of the Governor and valuable contributions sourced from Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds. The Chief Minister specifically commended the school's advanced facilities, including its well-equipped laboratories, comprehensive library, and modern classrooms. He also noted with pride that, for the first time, the Jan Bhavan team had the honor of participating in the Republic Day parade, and that sports meets are now a regular and vibrant feature of the school's calendar.
Fostering Growth and Curiosity
The Chief Minister articulated that imparting knowledge to children naturally ignites their innate curiosity. By providing them with clear objectives and goals, they are motivated to strive for their attainment, marking the crucial beginning of their personal transformation. He envisioned that from this nurturing environment, students would emerge to become luminaries like Aryabhata, Varahamihira, Sushruta, Charaka, Jagadish Chandra Bose, and CV Raman, contributing significantly to society. He extended his warmest wishes for a prosperous future for the students, contrasting the current advanced state of the school with its past limitations. Previously, the basic school lacked essential facilities such as a band, organized sports meets, proper uniforms, adequate teaching staff, smart classrooms, laboratories, and a library. Now, all these vital amenities have been successfully established, promising a richer learning experience.
