It is slated to open its doors later this year under the name The Coorg Forest Sanctuary, promising guests an unparalleled connection with the natural surroundings. This acquisition expands the brand's overall footprint, bringing its total portfolio to 15 properties distributed across 13 cities worldwide, encompassing a total of over 4,160 keys. The portfolio is a mix of owned, managed, and franchised establishments, underscoring a robust and diversified presence in the global market.
Brand Evolution
Celebrating four decades of operation, this acquisition signifies more than just growth; it represents a thoughtful evolution in the brand's hospitality philosophy. The strategic decision to invest in Coorg highlights a commitment to destinations rich in both cultural significance and natural beauty. This expansion not only strengthens the brand's presence in South India but also aligns with its broader objective of cultivating a well-rounded portfolio across India's most captivating landscapes. The Coorg Forest Sanctuary is envisioned as a unique blend of wild, untamed beauty, comprehensive wellness offerings, and the characteristic warmth of Indian luxury. It aims to cater to discerning travelers seeking tranquility, ample space, and a profound connection with the environment. The property boasts considerable land reserves, facilitating future enhancements and thoughtful expansion, with an initial phase planned to introduce 19 additional keys, bringing the total inventory to 91.
Future Expansion Plans
Looking ahead, the brand is charting an ambitious course for expansion, with a robust pipeline of 9 upcoming hotels. The focus is on high-growth markets, with planned openings in prominent locations such as Agra, Ayodhya, Bandhavgarh, Mumbai, Ranthambore, Sikkim, Srinagar, and Jaisalmer.
