In 2022, an epic road trip from Los Angeles to Massachusetts ignited a desire to savor America's diverse food scene. This journey wasn't just about the miles, it was a quest to uncover unique regional dishes and savor the culinary landscape of the United States. From the bustling streets of Chicago to the quiet farmlands of Nebraska, each stop provided a unique taste of local culture.

Arkansas' Fried, Bland Catfish

The journey started with a not so great experience with fried catfish and okra. The fish was bland and the okra was not appealing.

Midwest's Runza Sandwich

Nebraska provided a surprising treat, a sandwich named Runza, filled with meat, cheese, cabbage, and onions, outperforming the major fast-food burgers.

Ohio's Goetta Sandwich

Ohio provided the experience with a goetta sandwich which was found to be really incredible, with a unique spice profile, and crumbly texture.

Kansas City's BBQ
