Matcha, a finely ground powder of specially grown and processed green tea leaves, boasts a rich history intertwined with Japanese tea ceremonies. The process starts

Using the chasen, whisk the matcha and water in a 'W' or 'M' motion until a frothy layer forms on top, known as the crema. The consistency should be smooth, without any clumps. This practice, often a part of meditation, produces a delicious and uplifting beverage.

Matcha lattes offer a delicious and easily customizable way to enjoy matcha. The basic recipe involves whisking matcha powder with a small amount of hot water to create a matcha paste.
