Arches is open year-round, but the ideal times are spring and autumn, when the weather is milder, perfect for those who love comfort. Peak season, from
early April to July and late August to October, has timed-entry reservations between 7 AM and 4 PM. Plan ahead, like booking your train tickets in India, or opt to visit outside these hours for a more relaxed experience.
Getting There & Stay
Moab, a short distance from the park, is your base. Fly into Canyonlands Field Airport (CNY) or Salt Lake City and drive. Renting a car offers flexibility. Stay in Moab, or camp at Devils Garden Campground for a true desert experience. ULUM Moab offers luxury, and Field Station Moab, opened in 2023, is a great adventure base.
Must-Do Activities
Hike amidst the arches, or even go stargazing in the Dark Sky Park certified area. An 18-mile scenic drive is a must. Biking is another way to experience this beauty, and canyoneering is for the adventurous. Picnics in Devils Garden area offer a chance to unwind, like enjoying a quiet tea break after a long day, a truly Indian way to enjoy it.

Iconic Trails
Delicate Arch is the park's most famous hike. The Windows Section has arches galore. Devils Garden offers a relatively flat trail to Landscape Arch. These trails provide varied experiences.
