New Season, New Adventures
As the current ski season winds down, anticipation is building for the next winter's offerings. The much-awaited Ikon Pass for the upcoming season will
be available for purchase starting March 12th. This new iteration promises an enriched experience for pass holders, building on the improvements seen this past season, which included significant infrastructure upgrades at various resorts, such as 17 new lifts, three gondolas, expanded terrain, enhanced snowmaking capabilities, and a major expansion at Deer Valley Resort. The company is focused on providing pass holders with unparalleled flexibility and diverse opportunities to chase snow and adventure across a vast network of global mountain destinations.
Global Reach Expands
The upcoming Ikon Pass unlocks access to an impressive 76 destinations spread across the Americas, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, offering a truly international skiing and snowboarding experience. Among the exciting additions are unlimited access to Arapahoe Basin in Colorado and five days of access to Snowmass in Colorado via the Ikon Base Pass, subject to certain blackout dates. Crucially, Ikon Pass holders will now enjoy reservation-free lift access at Aspen Snowmass, encompassing Aspen Mountain, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands, and Buttermilk, simplifying the on-mountain experience and allowing for more spontaneous trips.
Midwest Mountain Boost
This year marks a significant enhancement for Midwest skiing enthusiasts, with increased access to key resorts in the region. Pass holders will now benefit from seven days of access to Snowriver Mountain Resort in Michigan, Lutsen Mountains in Minnesota, and Granite Peak in Wisconsin, all without any blackout dates. Additionally, these resorts are available for five days of access each on the Ikon Base Pass, though these will have select blackout dates. These additions are particularly noteworthy for their family-friendly environments and commitment to delivering memorable winter experiences, making them an ideal fit for both loyal and new Ikon Pass holders seeking a distinct Midwest mountain adventure.
Bonus Destinations & Perks
Beyond the core network, the Ikon Pass continues to offer valuable 'Bonus Mountain' access, providing two free days (with select blackouts) at select North American resorts. This year, the roster of bonus destinations has been expanded to include notable additions like Tamarack Resort in Idaho and Devil's Head Resort in Wisconsin, offering even more variety for exploration. Furthermore, Ikon is extending immediate unlimited spring skiing access to several of its most popular partner mountains, including Big Bear Mountain Resort, Snow Valley, Crystal Mountain, Schweitzer, Solitude Mountain Resort, Snowshoe, Stratton, Sugarbush Resort, and Blue Mountain in Canada. This initiative allows pass holders to extend their winter enjoyment well into the warmer months.
Future Access & Value
Looking ahead, the Ikon Pass is solidifying its value proposition with a clear schedule for future access. Starting April 6, 2026, pass holders can look forward to reservation-free access at a collection of highly sought-after mountains. This list includes Arapahoe Basin, Winter Park, Steamboat, Mammoth Mountain, June Mountain, Palisades Tahoe, Tremblant, and Deer Valley.
