In response to this directive, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) in Katihar took swift and decisive action. Inspector Vikram of the Katihar RPF confirmed that a total of nine women, including the individual prominently featured in the viral footage, were detained at the station. These women are currently undergoing intensive questioning by railway police regarding their involvement in this deceptive trade. The detained vendor admitted that the green coloring agent used bore a resemblance to the dyes employed in sweets prepared for celebratory wedding events, further deepening the investigation into the nature of the substance.
