Program Launch Details
IIT Delhi's Continuing Education Programme is thrilled to announce the commencement of its 8th cohort for the Advanced Certificate Programme in Artificial
Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning. This program, previously known as the Certificate Programme in Machine Learning and Deep Learning, is now accessible to graduates and postgraduates eager to delve into AI, ML, and DL technologies, even without prior specialized experience. The immersive learning journey is set to kick off on 26th July 2026 and will conclude on 22nd January 2027. Delivered through the eVIDYA online platform, it offers nationwide and international accessibility, allowing participants to engage from any location. Admissions are presently open, with a program fee of ₹1,95,000, plus 18% GST. This comprehensive course involves 80 hours of live online instruction, supplemented by assignments, quizzes, and significant capstone projects. An optional one-day campus visit to IIT Delhi is also part of the offering.
Comprehensive Curriculum Overview
The IIT Delhi CEP's advanced program is meticulously designed to guide participants from foundational principles to sophisticated applications in AI, ML, and DL. The curriculum begins with essential building blocks, including Python programming, data analytics techniques, and applied mathematics, ensuring a robust understanding. Subsequently, learners will navigate through core machine learning and deep learning modules, exploring concepts like neural networks and various deep learning architectures, alongside practical AI applications. A significant emphasis is placed on real-world applicability, utilizing industry-standard tools such as Python, TensorFlow, Keras, Scikit-learn, Visual ML Lab, and Visual DL Lab. Furthermore, the program incorporates exclusive sessions covering RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and Agentic AI, providing exposure to the very latest advancements in artificial intelligence development and innovation.
Hands-On Learning & Projects
A standout feature of this program is its 'Bring Your Own Project' (BYOP) capstone experience, empowering participants to implement a practical AI/ML solution by applying the knowledge acquired throughout the course. This hands-on approach is further reinforced through a series of assignments, quizzes, and in-depth case studies, all aimed at solidifying practical understanding. Live online sessions foster an interactive environment, allowing participants to directly engage with distinguished IIT faculty and seasoned industry experts. This blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application ensures that learners are well-prepared to tackle real-world challenges in the AI and ML domain.
Eligibility & Assessment Criteria
The program welcomes applications from graduates and postgraduates possessing degrees in engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, electronics, physics, AI, data science, or closely related fields. The assessment methodology is structured to provide a holistic evaluation of the participants' learning. An end-of-programme Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) examination accounts for 50% of the final grade. Assignments and quizzes contribute 20%, while the capstone project holds another 20% weightage. Finally, attendance during the program rounds out the remaining 10% of the assessment. Key dates to note are the start date of 26th July 2026 and the end date of 22nd January 2027, with classes scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM IST.
