While smartphone penetration is impressively high at 95 percent, PC penetration remains relatively low at approximately 9.9 percent. This gap significantly hinders hands-on learning, coding, design work, and essential AI experimentation for a vast portion of the population, with only about 20 percent of Indians currently proficient in computer use. The company asserts that transitioning from basic digital literacy to advanced digital fluency necessitates consistent and accessible PC availability, both within educational institutions and in homes.
