Q2 Financial Highlights
In the second quarter of Fiscal Year 2026, BPCL exhibited substantial financial growth. The standalone net profit reached ₹6,442.53 crore, a significant
leap of 168% compared to ₹2,397.23 crore in the same period the previous year. Although there was a sequential decrease of 5.20% from the June quarter's ₹6,123.93 crore, the yearly comparison showed a robust increase. Revenue for the quarter rose by 3.1% year-on-year to ₹1,21,570.90 crore, up from ₹1,17,917.43 crore. On a sequential basis, there was a decline of 6.17% from the June quarter's ₹1,29,577.89 crore. Furthermore, the Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) during the September quarter increased by 1.2% to ₹9,778 crore from ₹9,664 crore sequentially, with the EBITDA margin improving to 9.3% from 8.6% sequentially.
Dividend Announcement
BPCL's Board of Directors approved an interim dividend for Fiscal Year 2026. The dividend is set at ₹7.5 per equity share with a face value of ₹10 each, equivalent to 75%. The record date for determining shareholders' eligibility to receive the dividend has been set for November 7, 2025. This dividend will be distributed electronically on or before November 29, 2025. This declaration reflects the company's positive financial performance and its commitment to rewarding its shareholders. The weekly moving averages are aligned, supporting the uptrend. A consistent performance above ₹365 could initiate a rally towards ₹425, followed by ₹500 in the coming weeks.
