Several pop-ups brought international cuisines to Indian cities. Chef Ricardo Chaneton of MONO introduced Latin American fine dining to The Oberoi, New
Delhi, while London’s Lyaness appeared at Copitas in Bengaluru, and Paradiso Barcelona brought cocktail magic to Mumbai. These events provided unique culinary experiences for food enthusiasts.
Regional Indian Delights
Indian regional flavors also took center stage. Goa's Boilermaker popped up in Mumbai, while Poshmaal brought Kashmiri Pandit cuisine to Hyderabad. The flavours of Mewar and Marwar journeyed to Uttarakhand, offering a taste of diverse regional cooking traditions across India.
Bengaluru's Buzzing Scene
Bengaluru saw a flurry of activity, with Belgrade’s Noble Roots, Himalayan soul food, and Chef Tikka Singh's Punjabi pop-up gracing the city. Comorin hosted Hosa, while Lyaness made an appearance at Copitas in Bengaluru, showcasing the city's vibrant culinary offerings.
Celebrating Unique Cuisines
Specialized culinary experiences also took place. The Bohri Kitchen popped up at Monkey Bar for two weeks. Also, Bombay Daak celebrated its birthday with a month-long bash, alongside Waarsa celebrating women in Awadhi cuisine. The Great Bombay Sadhya at Kari Apla and a South India-Japan dinner added to the diverse range.
Culinary Collaborations Abound
Various chefs and establishments joined forces to create unique dining experiences. Dali & Gala and SAPA Bakery collaborated. A modern European dinner was hosted by Onrique with chef Jyesth Gupta. These collaborations, alongside chef Rahul Wali's Kashmiri Pandit pop-up in Hyderabad, further enriched the culinary scene.
