Mona's Hiring Spree
The AI manager, 'Mona', powered by Google's Gemini, has demonstrated a unique approach to human resources, including the hiring of staff. While ordering might not be her strongest suit, leading to some humorous acquisitions like 10 liters of cooking oil and 15 kilograms of canned tomatoes displayed on a 'wall of shame', Mona has successfully navigated the complexities of recruitment. She posted job listings on platforms like Indeed and LinkedIn, conducted phone interviews, and ultimately made hiring decisions. Barista Kajetan Grzelczak, one of two employees hired by Mona, shared his experience, initially mistaking the job posting for a joke due to its April 1st appearance. After a 30-minute interview with the AI, he secured the position.
