Understanding Droopy Eyelids
Droopy eyelids, also known as ptosis, can result from aging, weakened muscles, or even excessive screen time. Often, it's a natural part of life, but it can impact
confidence. While serious cases need a doctor, less severe ones can be addressed naturally.
Eyelid Exercise 1: Brow Lift
Gently place your index and middle fingers just beneath your eyebrows. Use the fingers to hold the skin and raise your eyebrows a little. Now, try to lower the eyebrows against the slight pressure. Repeat this for 30 seconds. This helps strengthen the muscles.
Eyelid Exercise 2: The Wink
Close your eyes tightly, and then try to open your eyes as wide as possible, as if you were surprised. Repeat the process, slowly opening and closing your eyes. This can strengthen the eye muscles which keeps the eyelids in position. Do this for 15-30 seconds.
Eyelid Exercise 3: Eye Rolling
Close your eyes. Now, slowly roll your eyes upwards, then downwards. Repeat the process for 15-30 seconds. Then, roll your eyes towards the left and right. Remember to keep breathing deeply throughout these exercises for optimal results.
