India is currently experiencing one of the most rapid digital transformations globally, with telecommunication and related digital technologies serving as the essential bedrock for economic expansion, effective governance, and broader social integration. By the close of 2025, the number of data subscribers in India has surpassed the one billion mark, with 5G technology alone accounting for approximately 400 million users. The total volume of wireless data consumed reaches around 25 million terabytes, a significant portion of which, over 10 million terabytes, is driven by 5G services. This scale underscores the immense scope of digital communication within the nation.
