Reborn as Parvati, the daughter of the Himalayas, she underwent rigorous penance for thousands of years, abstaining from food and water, all to win Lord Shiva's affection. Her name itself, derived from Sanskrit, signifies 'one who practices or pursues supreme consciousness and self-discipline.' This form of the Goddess is venerated for her unwavering devotion, profound peace, and remarkable perseverance, inspiring devotees to undertake their own spiritual quests with steadfastness.
Worship and Mantras
