Massive Attendee Influx
The upcoming India AI Impact Summit 2026 is poised to be a landmark event, anticipating a staggering turnout of over 200,000 participants. This significant
gathering, scheduled to unfold from February 16th to 20th across multiple prestigious venues in the national capital—Bharat Mandapam, Sushama Swaraj Bhawan, and the Ambedkar Centre—necessitates meticulous planning. The primary hub for the summit, including an expansive AI Expo, will be located at Bharat Mandapam. This large-scale event underscores the growing importance of artificial intelligence in India and the widespread interest it garners across various sectors, from students to industry professionals.
Seamless Entry Process
To ensure a smooth entry experience for the vast number of attendees, organizers are implementing a streamlined digital registration system. Participants will have the option to register using the DigiYatra application or by simply scanning a QR code displayed on the official India AI Impact Summit app at designated entry points. This digital approach aims to reduce on-site congestion and expedite the check-in process, making access to the summit venues more efficient and user-friendly for everyone involved.
Traffic & Exam Coordination
Recognizing the potential traffic challenges, particularly with ongoing CBSE board examinations, authorities have established robust traffic management plans. Close coordination with school principals by the Delhi Police ensures that students appearing for exams will face no travel disruptions. Additionally, plans are in place to manage the flow of 2 lakh visitors, with designated parking areas at nearby locations such as the Delhi Zoo, National Stadium, and Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium. Shuttle services will operate between these parking sites and the main venue to facilitate convenient commuting. Attendees are strongly encouraged to utilize public transport, especially the metro, with Pragati Maidan station offering direct access.
Responsible AI Initiatives
A core component of the summit is the promotion of ethical and responsible artificial intelligence practices. Starting at 8 AM on February 16th, a continuous 24-hour program will invite all attendees and the public to take pledges for the responsible use of AI technologies. This initiative highlights a commitment to fostering a future where AI development and deployment are guided by principles of fairness, transparency, and accountability, ensuring that technological advancements benefit society as a whole.
Zero-Waste Conference Goals
In line with sustainable event practices, organizers are focusing on achieving a 'zero-waste conference.' This involves repurposing infrastructure previously established for waste management, demonstrating a commitment to environmental responsibility. With over 2 lakh expected footfalls, the focus on recycling and minimizing waste generation is crucial for ensuring the success of this large-scale event while adhering to eco-friendly principles.
Event Schedule & Access
The India AI Impact Summit will run from February 16th to 20th, with most sessions open to all registered attendees. Registration for the event is free and accessible to anyone interested in participating. However, February 19th will have specific entry protocols and limited seating in the main arena due to security and VIP movements. The expo area will be inaccessible on the 16th, though conferences at Bharat Mandapam will be open.
