A New Era of Cruising
The Four Seasons I, the inaugural vessel from the renowned Four Seasons hospitality brand, has officially commenced its operations in Europe, departing
from Málaga, Spain. This highly anticipated yacht redefines luxury seafaring, seamlessly blending the exclusivity and flexibility of private yachting with the impeccable service standards that have made Four Seasons a global benchmark. Ben Trodd, CEO of Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings, the joint owner, emphasized that the yacht's itineraries are meticulously crafted to include both well-known ports of call and secluded, lesser-visited harbors, providing access to destinations that larger cruise ships cannot typically reach, such as the glamorous Saint-Tropez or the picturesque Santorini.
Unrivaled Onboard Experience
This opulent new yacht is a testament to meticulous design and lavish appointments. Featuring 95 exceptionally spacious suites, the Four Seasons I boasts an impressive array of eleven distinct restaurants and lounges, catering to diverse culinary preferences. Guests can indulge in rejuvenation at the L’Oceana Spa, which offers a thermal suite and cutting-edge wellness treatments, including cryotherapy and infrared beds. A standout feature is the innovative 'transverse marina,' a unique area situated near the waterline. This allows guests to easily board tenders for excursions to shore or enjoy direct swimming access from the yacht in suitable conditions and at select destinations, further enhancing the feeling of private yacht ownership.
Designed for Connection
The culmination of years of dedicated planning and development, the Four Seasons I represents a significant achievement. The suites are engineered to be unlike anything else currently at sea, featuring expansive indoor-outdoor living areas that blur the lines between the vessel and the surrounding seascape. Floor-to-ceiling glass panels offer continuous, breathtaking views, while private terraces provide intimate spaces for guests to connect with the ocean. Early previews have garnered high praise, with industry insiders describing the ship as strikingly beautiful and exceptionally well-constructed from the inside out. The evident pride of the staff further contributes to the quintessential Four Seasons ambiance, making guests feel as though they have stepped into a magnificent hotel on water.
Collaborative Design Excellence
The creation of the Four Seasons I was a collaborative effort involving some of the most respected names in maritime and hospitality design, including Tillberg Design of Sweden, Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, and Prosper Assouline. The vessel itself was constructed by Fincantieri, an esteemed Italian shipbuilding company with a portfolio that includes new builds for prominent lines like Cunard, Explora Journeys, and Oceania Cruises. This partnership of design prowess and shipbuilding expertise has resulted in a yacht that is as architecturally stunning as it is functionally superior, embodying a new standard in luxury cruising.
The Pinnacle Suites
Two of the most extravagant accommodations aboard the Four Seasons I warrant special mention. The first, an expansive 8,000-square-foot suite, features three bedrooms, a sprawling outdoor terrace overlooking the ship's main pool, its own 'splash pool,' and a private sauna, offering an unparalleled level of private luxury. Even more remarkable is the 10,000-square-foot suite, aptly named as it encircles the entire ship across four decks. This accommodation is possibly the most opulent suite found on any cruise vessel globally, boasting three bedrooms, a private swimming pool, and an extensive array of other exclusive amenities and features designed to astound.
A Vision for the Future
Four Seasons Yachts is envisioned as an extension of the pioneering spirit that defines the Four Seasons brand, committed to delivering the same genuine care, service excellence, and memorable experiences guests expect on land. Following its initial Mediterranean season, which includes ports in Croatia, Italy, Greece, France, and Montenegro, the Four Seasons I is slated to cross the Atlantic in late 2026 for a winter season in the Caribbean. This strategic global expansion underscores Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings' long-term vision, with plans for additional itineraries and future vessels already in development, signaling a sustained commitment to the luxury yachting sector.
