Lucknow Flyover Triumph
In a notable development for the infrastructure sector, PNC Infratech Ltd has been declared the lowest bidder for a substantial engineering, procurement,
and construction (EPC) project orchestrated by the Lucknow Development Authority. This project, valued at ₹194.40 crore, involves the critical construction of a four-lane flyover. Adding to its complexity, the design includes two loops and two ramps, strategically situated at the Shaheed Path intersection adjacent to the Gomti River's right-hand bank in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. This contract, secured on an EPC basis from a domestic entity, signifies a significant project win for the company, with a projected completion timeline of 24 months. The successful bid underscores PNC Infratech's ongoing capability to secure and execute large-scale urban infrastructure projects, contributing to the region's development.
Expanding Highway Network
Beyond the Lucknow flyover, PNC Infratech has recently made considerable strides in national highway development, securing two significant Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) based projects from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). These projects, collectively valued at an impressive ₹3,483 crore (excluding GST), further bolster the company's portfolio. The financial bids for these undertakings were evaluated on April 21, 2026. Both projects are slated for execution in Uttar Pradesh, falling under the NH-927 section and operating under the NH (O) scheme through the HAM framework. The first initiative focuses on constructing a four-lane highway stretching from Barabanki to Mustafabad, with a bid cost of ₹1,728 crore. The second project involves building another four-lane highway, connecting Mustafabad to Biswariya, at a bid cost of ₹1,755 crore. Each of these highway projects also carries an execution schedule of 24 months, demonstrating the company's capacity for rapid, large-scale infrastructure deployment.
Corporate Governance Assured
PNC Infratech Ltd has clarified that in relation to both the Lucknow flyover project and the recently awarded highway projects, there are no conflicts of interest involved. The company explicitly stated that neither the promoter, nor the promoter group, nor any of their associated companies hold any stake or interest in the awarding authorities. This transparency ensures that these contracts are free from any related party transactions, reinforcing the integrity of the bidding and awarding processes. Such disclosures are crucial for maintaining investor confidence and adhering to robust corporate governance standards within the infrastructure development landscape.
