CBSE's 2026 Roadmap
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has unveiled its plans for the academic year 2026. The CBSE has released the 10th and 12th class datesheets,
enabling students to plan their study schedules. Additionally, a significant initiative includes introducing an AI and CT curriculum starting from Class 3, marking a shift towards integrating technology-focused education early in the learning process. An expert committee has been established to guide the implementation of this new curriculum. The CBSE School Academic Performance Report Card for the 2024-25 academic session has also been released, providing schools with valuable insights into student performance and areas for improvement. Simultaneously, the CBSE CTET 2026 exam is scheduled for February 8, and the application process is expected to begin soon.
State Board Updates
Several state boards have also announced crucial updates for the upcoming academic year. The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has released the 1st and 2nd Year exam schedule for 2026, with exams commencing on February 25. Similarly, the Meghalaya MBOSE SSLC and HSSLC timetables for 2026 have been released. In Maharashtra, the SSC and HSC board exam schedule for 2026 has been published, providing clarity to students. Furthermore, the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has released the results for the HS Semester 3 exams, with a remarkable pass percentage of 93.72%. Entrance Exam Schedules
Important dates for national-level entrance exams have also been announced. JEE Main 2026 Session 1 registration has commenced and the deadline for applications is November 27. The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 registration deadline for UG and PG courses has been extended until November 7, providing more time for interested candidates to apply. Additionally, the AISSEE 2026 registration deadline has been extended to November 9.
