NIA is embracing a digital-first approach to passenger processing, aiming for a swift check-in and bag-drop experience, targeted at around 10 minutes. While the airport commences operations with a single runway and an initial capacity to handle 12 million passengers annually, its future trajectory is monumental. The long-term vision for Jewar Airport is to evolve into India's largest aviation hub. By 2040, the plan includes expanding to five runways and accommodating an astounding 70 million travelers per year.
