Crucially, the number of destinations accessible to Indian citizens with simplified entry remains constant at 56. It's also worth noting that India had previously experienced a substantial ascent, climbing from the 85th position in 2025 to the 75th in February 2026, before this minor adjustment.

Indian passport holders currently have access to an impressive 56 destinations that offer streamlined entry options. Of these, a substantial 30 countries provide completely visa-free access, meaning travellers can enter without any prior visa application process. An additional 23 nations offer the convenience of a visa-on-arrival, where the necessary visa is issued upon reaching the airport or border crossing. The remaining 3 destinations require an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA), a straightforward online pre-approval procedure that needs to be completed before departure.
