A Grand Transformation
Just as the peak visitor season for Utah's iconic Arches and Canyonlands National Parks begins, the Red Cliffs Lodge Moab has completed a comprehensive
renovation. Situated serenely along the Colorado River, a mere 20 miles from the heart of Moab, this lodge, now part of the Marriott Bonvoy Outdoors Collection, has been meticulously enhanced to serve as an exceptional starting point for explorations into these natural wonders. The extensive refresh encompasses a completely redesigned central lodge area, the introduction of a brand-new signature dining establishment complemented by a cocktail lounge, and a modernized aesthetic across all 79 suites, which include both creekside and riverfront options. The vision behind this project was to capture the essence of traditional national park lodges while inviting guests into a deeper connection with the stunning surroundings, from the panoramic views to the tranquil riverfront setting.
Lodge Ambiance & Amenities
Stepping inside the revamped lodge, guests are immediately greeted by expansive floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the majestic red rock mesas. A prominent central fireplace serves as the lodge's inviting focal point, perfect for morning coffee, unwinding after a hike, or enjoying a pre-dinner aperitif. This area also functions as a practical 'base camp,' where a knowledgeable local team is on hand to assist in crafting personalized itineraries, suggesting hidden gems, and arranging unique excursions. Adjacent to the reception, a newly established retail space offers a curated selection of local artisan products, along with convenient snacks and supplies essential for any desert adventure. This thoughtful integration of design and guest services ensures a comfortable and well-equipped stay, enhancing the overall experience of visiting this unique desert locale.
Culinary Delights Await
Introducing Ember, the lodge's exciting new all-day dining venue and cocktail lounge. Ember draws its inspiration from the concept of a shared, communal meal around a campfire, fostering a warm and inviting atmosphere. The culinary team has crafted a menu that prominently features regional ingredients, celebrating the flavors of the Southwest. Guests can anticipate enjoying comforting and expertly prepared dishes, such as perfectly grilled trout and a robust peppercorn-crusted New York striploin. Complementing the food is an array of artisanal cocktails, designed to be savored while taking in the picturesque surroundings. This new restaurant is poised to become a highlight for visitors seeking a memorable dining experience that reflects the spirit and bounty of the Moab region.
Embracing the Outdoors
Beyond its impressive interior updates, Red Cliffs Lodge Moab is actively enhancing its offerings to align with the primary reasons visitors flock to this area: outdoor adventure. Through strategic partnerships with experienced local outfitters, the lodge now facilitates seamless booking of exceptional activities.
