Affected Destinations & Dates
Flights to Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Amman, Bahrain, and Tel Aviv are currently suspended until May 31. For those bound for Abu Dhabi's Zayed International Airport, cancellations are extended significantly, remaining in effect until October 25, 2026, which aligns with the airline's winter flight schedule. Services to Doha are also temporarily paused until April 30, with a reduced schedule anticipated thereafter through the end of May. Passengers whose travel plans are affected by these suspensions are being offered a range of flexible solutions. The airline is actively contacting affected individuals to present these alternatives, which include the option to rebook their journey with a different carrier, postpone their travel to a later date, or opt for a full refund of their ticket cost. Furthermore, the airline has been instrumental in assisting passengers who found themselves stranded due to the initial disruptions. This support has included operating several relief flights from Muscat, Oman, back to London Heathrow to help travellers return home safely, demonstrating a commitment to passenger welfare beyond standard rebooking procedures.
Repatriation & Alternative Routes
In addition to offering standard rebooking and refund options, the airline has facilitated repatriation efforts for passengers. Specifically, a series of relief flights were dispatched from Muscat, Oman, to London Heathrow, successfully reuniting several travellers with their homes. Limited seating was also made available on further repatriation services from Muscat on March 11 and March 12, prioritizing existing ticket holders. To accommodate passengers impacted by the regional flight cancellations, the airline has also strategically introduced additional flights to long-haul destinations like Singapore and Bangkok, aiming to provide alternative travel pathways for those affected by the Middle Eastern airspace instability.
