If an AI can write a passable essay on any topic in seconds, what is the value of a traditional take-home essay assignment? Student groups have even weighed in, proposing frameworks that distinguish between using AI to support learning and allowing it to replace original thought, advocating for clear boundaries and AI literacy education from an early age.
