While aerobic exercise on its own was linked to a significant risk reduction, adding just a couple of strength sessions unlocked a much greater protective benefit.

The most recent research, including a major Harvard-led study from mid-2026, has reinforced and refined these findings. This latest science confirms the powerful synergy between strength and aerobic work.
