IRCTC has curated five distinct itineraries, structured as four-night, five-day trips. These rail-based tours are designed to cater to a wide range of travellers, from families on their first safari adventure to seasoned wildlife photographers and birdwatchers. The journeys typically depart from Mumbai CSMT on the Vidarbha Express, making them highly accessible for travellers.

One single booking covers confirmed train tickets, accommodation in well-appointed hotels, all local road transportation between stations and parks, and most importantly, guaranteed wildlife safari permits. By bundling the permit with the rest of the travel components, IRCTC removes the most significant point of friction.
