The Key Condition: It's Package-Linked
The most important thing for travellers to understand is that this is not an independent, standalone free visa. You cannot book your flight and hotel separately and then apply for the complimentary visa. The offer is exclusively tied to holiday packages booked through participating travel partners and online travel agencies. This structure is intentional, designed to encourage tourists to book comprehensive trips and spend more time exploring the emirate. The visa cost is either covered directly by DCT Abu Dhabi or reimbursed to the travel agencies, meaning the savings are passed on to the customer as part of the package deal.
Eligibility: The Three Main Rules
To qualify for the complimentary visa, travellers must meet three specific conditions, with no exceptions. First, you must be an Indian passport holder departing from India. Second, your booking must include a return flight from India. Third, and most crucially, the package must include a minimum stay of three consecutive nights in an Abu Dhabi hotel.
