The reports, originating from automotive blogs and enthusiast forums, suggest a production run of fewer than 100 units with a price tag expected to exceed the $2.1 million of McLaren's current flagship, the W1.

For the past two decades, the manual transmission has been systematically engineered out of existence at the highest levels of performance.
