Spy shots that surfaced in mid-July 2026 confirm that KTM is deep into testing the next generation of its middleweight adventure bike. While the test mule was heavily camouflaged, the images point to what is expected to become the new KTM 790 Adventure.
This isn't just a minor model-year update; the changes suggest a comprehensive redesign aimed at modernizing the bike's aesthetics and improving its functionality. The prototype appears leaner and sports a more athletic stance, hinting that KTM is responding to rider feedback and evolving market trends. It looks to be a significant evolution from the current version, which itself was a revival of the original 790 nameplate.
A Sharper, Slimmer Front End
