Securing a safari permit for the core zones of popular tiger reserves like Tadoba-Andhari is notoriously difficult. The booking window typically opens 120 days in advance, and slots are often snapped up within minutes, leaving many travelers disappointed. This high-stakes digital race forces people to juggle uncertain train tickets and non-refundable hotel bookings, all while hoping to win the permit lottery.
