What is the story about?
Indian Railways has introduced its first-ever Bharat Gaurav tourist train to Nepal. The special ‘Pashupatinath (Nepal) Darshan Yatra’ will begin from Indore on June 12, offering passengers a guided 10-day journey covering some of the most famous religious and tourist destinations.
The train is designed as an all-inclusive tourism package that combines train travel, hotel accommodation, sightseeing, meals, and road transport, making travel easier for pilgrims and tourists.
The 9-night and 10-day tour will cover several major attractions in Nepal, including:
- Pashupatinath Temple
- Pokhara
- Chitwan National Park
- Manakamana Temple
Passengers will also visit Sarangkot View Point, Phewa Lake, Durbar Square, Royal Palace, and Swayambhunath Temple during the trip.

The train will travel from Indore to Raxaul, after which passengers will be transferred to the Nepal border, change to the Nepalese coach and drive to Chitwan.

IRCTC has introduced multiple travel categories for passengers:
