The RBI has advised these firms to ensure strict adherence to the RBI Act provisions, regulatory guidelines, and reporting norms.
Shabros Fin-Vest had earlier faced
Conversely, the RBI has cancelled the certificates of registration of sixteen NBFCs. This move prohibits these entities from carrying out any NBFC-related activities in India as per Section 45-I of the RBI Act, 1934.

Some cancellations of CoRs were due to the NBFCs meeting the criteria for unregistered Core Investment Companies (CICs) that do not require registration, such as India Finsec Limited.
