Prudent Corporate Advisory Services Limitedon Monday (September 8) announced that its board of directors approved the acquisition of the entire Mutual Fund Distribution (MFD) business of Indus Capital. The transaction,
executed through a Business Transfer Agreement with Sanjay Sanghvi, Proprietor of Indus Capital, will be conducted on a slump sale basis as a going concern.
The acquisition covers assets under management (AUM) worth ₹2,030 crore as of August 30, 2025, and includes all customer contracts, receivables, employees, rights, obligations, and liabilities associated with the business. The total consideration payable by Prudent Corporate to the Seller, including both initial and contingent components, is ₹123.75 crore.

The transaction is not a related party deal, and neither the promoter nor the promoter group has any interest in Indus Capital. The acquisition aims to strengthen Prudent Corporate’s mutual fund distribution vertical, expand its customer base, enhance AUM, and support overall business growth.
Shares of Prudent Corporate Advisory Services Ltd ended at ₹2,795.00, up by ₹89.60, or 89.60%, on the BSE.
